vrijwillig test-, analyse- en certificatieprogramma voor de milieu-, gezondheids- en veiligheidseigenschappen van polyurethaanschuim dat wordt gebruikt bij de vervaardiging van beddengoed en gestoffeerde meubelen. Het identificeert stoffen die niet mogen worden gebruikt bij de productie of polyurethaanschuimen en legt strenge bovengrenzen op voor bepaalde componenten.<\/p><p><strong>Transparantie<\/strong><\/p><p>Het programma is volledig transparant. Het is gestoeld op duidelijke criteria en de bedrijven moeten zich dan ook houden aan specifieke beperkingen voor stoffen in schuim die mogelijk een gezondheids- of milieurisico inhouden. De schuimen van labelhouders worden elk jaar getest door onafhankelijke laboratoria om ervoor te zorgen dat zij blijven voldoen aan de specificaties van CertiPUR. Als een bedrijf deze controles niet doorstaat, moet het onmiddellijk stappen ondernemen om het probleem op te lossen. Als het daarna nog niet aan de eisen voldoet, wordt het uit CertiPUR gezet en wordt het recht om het label te voeren, ingetrokken.<\/p><p><strong>CertiPUR-handelsmerk<\/strong><\/p><p>CertiPUR is een gedeponeerd handelsmerk van EUROPUR. Alleen schuimproducenten die hun schuimen laten certificeren en die voldoen aan de CertiPUR-norm mogen het CertiPUR-logo voeren. Zij mogen dit recht overdragen aan beddengoed- en matrassenfabrikanten die gecertificeerd schuim van hen kopen, uiteraard op voorwaarde dat het logo alleen op producten staat die uitsluitend met gecertificeerd schuim werden geproduceerd. Het CertiPUR-logo kan dus ook op meubelen en matrassen staan die niet noodzakelijk worden verkocht onder de merknaam van e\u0301e\u0301n van de andere houders van het label.<\/p><p><strong>Handhaving<\/strong><\/p><p>EUROPUR maakt zich sterk dat het CertiPUR-logo alleen wordt gevoerd door bedrijven die daartoe het recht hebben (producenten van gecertificeerd schuim en hun klanten). Als u twijfelt of een product het CertiPUR-logo al dan niet op wettige wijze voert, aarzel dan niet om contact met ons op te nemen. Wij ondernemen actie tegen bedrijven die ons logo op frauduleuze wijze voeren.<\/p><p><strong>Vergelijkbare labels<\/strong><\/p><p>Als u een matras of meubel koopt waarop het CertiPUR-logo prijkt, dan kunt u er van op aan dat het voldoet aan de strenge specificaties van CertiPUR. Het is echter mogelijk dat er andere certificaten op matrassen of meubels staan omdat sommige certificatieprogramma&#8217;s alle componenten bestrijken waaruit ze vervaardigd zijn (textiel enz.).
