Six New Companies Join EUROPUR in 2025

In the first half of 2025, EUROPUR welcomed six additional companies to its membership. This ongoing expansion reflects the continued interest from organisations across the flexible polyurethane foam value chain to further engage with the industry. It also supports EUROPUR’s efforts with additional expertise in areas such as sustainability, product stewardship, and health and safety.

Among the six companies, there is one European slabstock PU foam producer and five associate members. All new members had the opportunity to introduce their companies to the wider membership during the EUROPUR General Assembly on 4 June 2025 in Benidorm.

A new Regular Member – a European slabstock PU foam producer – is TB Foam Solutions. The company is currently constructing a slabstock PU foam plant in Leszno, Poland, scheduled for inauguration in October of this year. It is a part of the EuroComfort Group, one of Europe’s largest producers in the bedding and upholstered elements sector.

All new Associate Members are raw materials and additives suppliers to the industry: (i) Microban International, a UK-based global provider of antimicrobial and odour control technologies, offering solutions that can be integrated into flexible polyurethane (PU) foam products; (ii) ISL-Chemie, a German company specialising in the development and production of colorants and additives for polyurethane systems, including flexible PU foams; (iii) LEAF Polyol – Brazilian company with a European base in Madrid – produces renewable, carbon-negative, plant-based polyols for polyurethane foam applications; (iv) Recaz Chemicals, established in 2010 in Dubai, with a European division in Poland, distributes and produces speciality chemicals, including surfactancts and other additives for flexible polyurethane foam; and (v) SABIC, a global diversified chemical company, producing main raw materials for the flexible PU foam industry. It is headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a European HQ in Sittard, The Netherlands.

The association is committed to collaborating with each new member to advance our common goals of sustainability and safety in the flexible polyurethane foam industry.

Currently, EUROPUR membership comprises 135 member companies, 59 European slabstock PU foam producers and 76 companies from the flexible polyurethane foam value chain. Our regular members operate over 120 foam plants and account for ~90% of the slabstock PU foam production in Europe.
